Al Jawhara Group is an Egyptian food company founded in 1979 that produces, packs and distributes tea, potato chips, snacks, biscuits, sweets and croissants. It started by packing tea imported from Sri Lanka, Kenya and India in a factory in New Borg El Arab, Alexandria. In 1995 it added a factory for corn snacks and one for potato chips made from potatoes grown on its own farms. Its factories are in Housh Issa and El Kom El Akhdar in Behera and in New Borg El Arab. The group states that it has over 35 years of experience and exports to over 100 countries.
