Description

Aktienbrauerei Simmerberg , also called Braumanufaktur Simmerberg, is a brewery in the Westallgäu region of Germany, with a history that goes back to 1706, when beer was brewed in the Adler tavern. In 1897 Bonaventura König joined the original brewery house and the Aktienbrauerei under one roof. The brewery makes filtered and naturally cloudy cellar beers under the Simmerberg brand in line with the Bavarian purity law of 1516. Its beers are enjoyed from Oberstdorf to Lake Constance, and its brewery tavern has a beer garden. The company also offers brewery tours, a shop, and supplies to the trade and gastronomy.
